Owners have different financial situations, timelines, and risk tolerances—but all share the right to the same factual information.

This is not a pro‑stay or pro‑sale website.

It is a Pro‑INFO resource: intended to provide accurate information in plain language about what is happening, what decisions may arise, and how those decisions are made—without pressure, advocacy, or persuasion— so owners can understand the options and decide for themselves.

MISSION

Why This Information Hub Is Needed

South Bay Club is currently addressing several issues at the same time, including required structural, life‑safety, and electrical work under Florida law, related financial decisions, and interest from at least one third‑party buyer who is reaching out to some individual owners.

The building must complete significant repairs that cannot be postponed. The approved Special Assessment is part of meeting these legal obligations, and each owner’s financial responsibility exists regardless of whether the Association secures financing.

At the same time, because South Bay Club sits on valuable waterfront land, a developer has expressed interest in the property for potential redevelopment. Some owners have been contacted with conditional offers, while others have not.

Information about these topics often reaches owners in pieces, making it difficult to see how everything fits together. This site brings the information together in one place, in plain language.

This resource is intended to:

  • explain what is happening and why owners may be hearing different messages

  • clarify what is required by law versus what is optional

  • explain how condominium governance and voting work, and why they matter

  • outline key risks and considerations as the situation evolves

  • provide information to help owners plan

This Pro‑INFO resource is provided for general informational purposes only. It is not intended to recommend any specific action, influence voting, or suggest a preferred outcome.
